Suicide/Murder

February 12th, 2008
Did you know that we as Realtors are not under any obligation to disclose that a death has occured in a home. If you do not wish to own a home that has been STIGMATISED by way of a death due to suicide/murder or an unusual circumstance, you must let your agent know this. It is then their obligation to protect you by asking the correct questions of the selling agent.

A couple of things to notice if in fact this is of concern to you. When you see that a home is being sold as an Estate Sale, always enquire as to the cause of 'Estate'. Verify as to wether probate has already happened i.e. transfer of title to the new owners as per the last

Market's Slow??

January 29th, 2008
At my open house this weekend at 1550 Larkhall I had 42 very excited & ready to buy customers. This activity certainly did not lead me to believe that the market was slowing down in any way. Now to be honest, the home is stunnig and it's well priced in a great location. Maybe what has changed, is that the customers are now being a little more picky and not just willing to buy homes that are not priced according to their quality and location. Stay tuned, we'll see what the next couple of months bring.
