Nothing to do with Houses

I know this is nothing to do with Real Estate, but it never ceases to amaze me how poor most people's driving is here in Vancouver. From England originally, I was taught only venture to the right lane when overtaking, never 'undertake' another vehicle and once you have overtaken, get out of the way and move left.
Here (especially in Vancouver) people cruise with no particular hurry in which ever lane they chose. Not only that, become indignant at the people that then undertake on the inside lane. I have even seen people speed up so you cannot pass. What is with that?
Slower traffic stays right, if people wish to overtake and break the speed limit, surely that is their problem and the police will sort them out down the road. While I am on this rant, it also amazes me that when you let people in to traffic or allow them to go first when clearly you should have gone first, that they do not thank you with just a courteous wave!
And finally, the merge on the Lions Gate, not heading south to Vancouver, but heading north to the North Shore.  PEOPLE, drive to the end of the lane and then merge. Seriously, the people that dart out of their lane to prevent you from driving to the end of the lane because they feel you are cutting in, Good lord I could go on for ever.
